NEXON announced that it will become a global publisher of cross-platform MMORPG Project T, based on the Korean webtoon Overgeared (템빨). The project is being created by the GRAYGAMES studio, founded in 2023 by veterans of the South Korean gaming industry with extensive experience in creating MMORPGs and service games. At the moment it is known that the game will be released on PC and mobile platforms.
The webtoon Overgeared tells the story of a player in a medieval fantasy online game who was able to gain incredible power. Project T will inherit all the key features of the original, including the crafting system, hidden classes and quests, as well as characters and plot. In addition, the project will not by the founding of nations, military battles and the title system.
The original work was published from November 2014 to April 2024 and has 96 volumes and 2060 chapters. And the total number of views exceeded 1.3 billion.
