The NCSOFT company is preparing for the “revival” of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty and held an online broadcast where it described details of the updates. Let us remind you that the developers previously announced many changes to the game that will appear in two major updates: July 24 and August 21, 2024.

For the first time since the release, a new server will be opened with accelerated development for newcomers and returning s. Players will be able to quickly upgrade their character and get the necessary equipment. It will be valid from July 24 to August 20, and at the end of this time all characters can be transferred to any of the main servers for free. The main goal of this server will be to prepare characters for the addition of the new Talandre region.
The main bonuses that will be valid on the server:

- Free resources for character development every ten levels.

Thanks to these improvements, many skills will become more dynamic, which will affect the operation of the entire combat system. The dynamics of battle and the balance of weapons caused a lot of negativity among players, and that is why large-scale changes affected the entire combat system.

Co-op dungeons will receive a new mode in which players will have to go through different difficulty levels to receive valuable rewards and participate in ratings. The list of two co-op dungeons will change weekly. From levels 1 to 15, players receive runes, and from levels 15 to 30, they participate in the ranking for unique titles. Each stage will feature new mechanics that players will have to complete to defeat the boss.
The rune system will allow you to obtain additional characteristics, including for a combination of certain runes.
Briefly about other changes:
- Additional characteristics of equipment can be changed using certain items. This will allow players to remove unnecessary bonuses and rethink their build.
- The chance of items dropping in open dungeons increases due to the consumption of accumulated Abyss points and the number of players in the party.
- Items will drop out “linked” to your , but this will not affect rare named items.
- The system “whoever hits first gets to claim the loot” is returning to the game. She was present at the game’s release, but was removed due to a number of problems.
- They will add peaceful activities: fishing, cooking and Amitoi expedition.
This is just a small part of the changes that will appear in the game on July 24th. The developers hope that they can breathe new life into the game and bring back players who were previously disappointed in the project.
