Closed testing of the console version of the MMORPG New World: Aeternum started on July 25, 2024, but judging by open statistics, players were not interested in it. Thanks to the portal nwdb.info you can track in real time the number of players on each server, including those created for the console test:
- US Beta 1 placed in North America, and a peak online of 1,418 players was recorded in the first day of the test.
- EU Beta 1 is intended for players from Europe, and the peak online was also recorded in the first day after the server opened – 546 players.
Developers from Amazon Games sent access keys to interested players and also used gaming portals to distribute access. In some cases, all the keys were disassembled, and in some cases there were tens of thousands of them left, for example. It is worth noting that testing is under NDA and will end on July 31, 2024.
Let us remind you that the release of the Aeternum add-on for the MMORPG New World is scheduled for October 15, 2024, and then the game will become available for owners of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The developers plan to change the game on a large scale, even changing the genre: from an MMORPG the game will turn into an Action RPG.
