With the release of the third-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, the developers are not going to stop. In the published roap, they talked about what players should expect until the end of 2025.
The game roap is as follows:
- First weeks after release – After release, the developers will focus on collecting to quickly make some adjustments and improvements through small patches.
- Season 2 – Season 2 content will be released between October and the end of the year. Among the free content, you can expect a new Operations map, a new enemy, a higher difficulty level, new weapons, and other improvements. Season owners will receive new cosmetic items based on the Dark Angels chapter: chromas, heraldry, weapon skins, and Champion skins.
- In the future — More content will be added throughout 2025. The developers promise a lot of free content, including new operations, PvP maps, game modes such as Horde mode. In addition, cosmetic items based on iconic chapters will be added to the game, allowing for character customization.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be released on September 9, 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Owners of the Gold Edition and Ultra Edition will be able to start playing four days earlier, from the 5th.
