The South Korean Studio Nimble Neuron announced the final closed beta testing of Eternal Return in China. This stage takes place until May 30 and is focused on preparing for the official launch of the game on the largest Chinese platform for the Wegame PC-IGR.
Eternal Return received a license from the public istration of the press and publications of China (NPPA) in December last year, which allowed the studio to start preparing for the release. Since March, developers in cooperation with local partners have held two stages of testing. The first was dedicated to checking technical stability, and the second developers evaluated how s master the game, how actively spending time in it and whether they return after the first sessions. According to the results of the second stage, the game reached the fifth line in the rating of pre -registrations of new releases on Wegame, becoming a leader among foreign projects. More than 94% of positive reviews from Chinese participants were recorded.
The third stage invites 15 thousand players and aims to further increase involvement, as well as collecting data on the commercial component, including intra -game purchases. According to its results, the exact date of the full -fledged launch of the Eternal Return in the Chinese market will be determined.
According to Nimble Neuron CEO Kim Son Hu, the team expects that the launch in China will give a serious impetus to the further growth of the project. He noted that the release is scheduled for the current year and is unlikely to be significantly postponed. The developers are betting on localization and the accumulated service experience in order to attract the attention of the Chinese audience and successfully gain a foothold on the new market.
Recall that at the end of April, Neptune, which includes Nimble Neuron, was purchased by Krafton, the owner of Pubg Studios.
