HK TEN TREE LIMITED announced the settlement of the dispute with Square Enix, which arose against the backdrop of a violation of the license agreement in the development of RPG Mecharashi. The publisher did not disclose the details of the agreements reached, but s from Japan again got the opportunity to the game both in Steam and in mobile stores.

Recall that in March 2025 it became known about the lawsuit from Square Enix against Blackjack Studio, the game developer, and HK Ten Tree Limited, its global publisher. The lawsuit stated that Blackjack Studio used materials from the abolished game Front Mission 2089: Borderscapeon which she previously worked by order of Square Enix. For an unsuitable reason, the contract was terminated at the initiative of Square Enix, but the developers decided not to refuse developments and illegally implemented them in a new project.

Initially, Square Enix insisted on the full prohibition of Mecharashi and required payment of $ 150,000 for each violation. Subsequently, HK Ten Tree Limited announced the desire to resolve the dispute in pre -trial order, and the developers began to make changes to the game to remove all controversial elements.

Mecharashi is a free step -by -step RPG, in which tactics and customization are playing a key role. Players take on the role of the commander of a detachment of combat furs, collecting and setting up their cars for battles. At the moment, the project is available in China, Japan and South Korea, and the global release is scheduled for 2025.
