On page Mafia Games: The Old Country in Steam recently a mention of the release date that was removed after a while. According to him, a new part of the popular series will be released on August 8, 2025. Apparently, the information was disclosed by accident. Officially, developers from the Hangar 13 studio and 2K published only about plans to release the game in the summer of 2025, without specifying a specific day.
Additional details about the project will be presented on May 8 as part of a direct broadcast from the Pax East exhibition. The event will be President Hangar 13 Nick Baines, Gam-Director Alex Cox and director Thomas Grebichk. As part of a discussion, the developers will tell about the history of the Mafia series and the process of recreating Sicily at the beginning of the 20th century using the Unreal Engine 5 engine, and also share the development details and answer the questions of the audience. The broadcast will be available on the main stream of Pax East and the official YouTube channel Mafia.
The developers also promised awards for visitors present at the event personally, and competitions and additional news related to Pax East are expected on the social networks of the franchise.
