The Polish studio Bloober Team, known for the Silent Hill 2 remake, published the first full -fledged gameplay trailer for its new original Cronos: The New Dawn project. The game is developed for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, and the release is expected in 2025.

The debut trailer showed a combat system, arsenal of weapons and an atmosphere, emphasizing the destruction and distortion of reality. Graphics inspired by the architecture of late socialism emphasizes the atmosphere of anxiety and alienation. In addition to the visual style, the project is accompanied by the original soundtrack of the composer Arkadius Reikovsky in collaboration with the Zazula folk group. The use of traditional vocals in combination with synthesizer arrangement designed to create a tense avant -garde audio environment that complements the atmosphere of the game.

Cronos: The New Dawn is a survivaval-city, which offers a gloomy narrative that unfolds simultaneously in two time periods-in the post-apocalyptic future and in Poland of the 1980s. Players will have to take on the role of a traveler – an agent of a certain organization called a team traveling back in time to save key characters before the global disaster. The main place of action will be the new dawn area inspired by the real Krakow region of Nova-Khut, which is a hybrid of brutal architecture, anomalies and retro-futuristic horror.

One of the main features of the project will be a merger mechanic, turning every battle into a strategic and psychological test. The defeated enemies in the world of the game do not die completely, and if they do not burn their bodies, they can be absorbed by other monsters and become stronger. As a result, a new form of the enemy arises – more fast, dangerous and unstable, having additional abilities.
