This mechanic is one of the key in survival and struggle for power on the deserted planet Arrakis. Players have to not only choose a site and build a base from scratch, but also provide protection, establish production and think through the architectural style that reflects their fractional affiliation.

For construction, it is necessary to establish a feud console – the main element that fixes the territory behind the player and displays important parameters: energy consumption, water level, the state of the shield and warnings about the storms. The console allows you to manage access rights, as well as expand the base if improved versions of the device are used. Expansion is possible within the established rules – for example, the bases cannot intersect with the territories of other players or to be next to key objects like trading posts. At the same time, no more than three feuds are available to the player, of which only two can be starting.

Base protection is provided by shields that require stable energy supply. The game implements a system of drawings and solid projections that allows you to copy and transfer buildings, as well as share them with other players or sell. This is especially important during construction in a cooperative, where all participants see the projection of the base and can work on its implementation together.

Special attention is paid to the construction in the heart of the desert – a dangerous area where PVP and base raids are possible. Rich resources are available here, but their production is associated with high risk: the base shields can be disconnected during sand storms or coriolis storms that destroy everything in their path. The bases in this region are not taxed, but are temporary. Every week, the landscape landscape is completely changing, forcing the players to adapt to new conditions.
