Discord launches Social SDK – a new tool for integrating social functions into games

Discord announced the launch of the Social SDK – a new tool that provides developers with the opportunity to integrate the social functions and communication services of the platform into their games. SDK allows you to introduce lists of friends, cross -platform messages, voice chat and other functions without the need to create a discord . According to the company, the tool will help developers increase involvement and hold the audience, as well as expand coverage at the expense of the Discord ecosystem, which has more than 200 million active s per month.

The early partners of the project were TheoryCraft Games (Supervive), FacePunch Studios (Rust), Mainframe Industries (Pax Dei) and others. SDK is already available for all developers and compatible with C ++, as well as Unreal Engine and Unity. Windows 11 and MacOS are currently ed, and in the future it is planned to expand on consoles and mobile platforms.
