A team of developers of the multi - action about the sea battles “The World of the Ships” released the update 25.6, dedicated to the celebration of Russia Day. Players expect new thematic events, replenishment of the fleet with unique ships, as well as significant improvements in the mechanics of the game.
As part of the celebration of Russia’s Day, players will be able to take part in special activity, similar to the “Mount of Desires”, using dublons and a new temporary resource in the form of festive tokens. The main prize will be the battleship “Georgia” with a unique constant camouflage “Snow Verse”. This Soviet ship, an analogue of the American Georgia, will receive a feature in the form of a “search radar” with a range of twelve kilometers borrowed from the cruiser Dmitry Donskoy. Among other awards, it is worth noting the already familiar ships “Togliatti” and “Russian Alaska”, as well as various combat missions for thematic elements of personalization.
Since June 18, a new French shipyard starts in the game, where players will be able to build an artillery destroyer Duperré. This ship is equipped with six long-range 127-mm guns and is able to inflict impressive damage per minute thanks to the branded French equipment “Acceleration of Ruising the Civil Code”. On board there are also two three -pipe torpedo apparatus, and the destroyer itself stands out with high survivability and equipment of the “combat fence”. For the construction of Duperré, players will gain access to his historical analogue – the Forbin destroyer with a camouflage and a memorial flag. Forbin offers the possibility of switching types of torpedoes directly in battle, and also differs in excellent masking and survivability.
Update 25.6 also brings the full processing of the mechanics of the repair dock, which will now become constant activity. Players will be able to restore V – VII -VII ships using drawings and materials obtained from the new “repair” container. All existing structures and workpieces of players will be automatically converted into drawings and materials, preserving progress.
For beginners and experienced captains, the fourth educational test has been added – “Maneuvers on the destroyer”, available on VI destroyers (except for armed with deep -sea torpedoes). The purpose of the test is to develop the skills of using torpedoes, evasion of fire and the use of tactical techniques. Five stages of testing with increasing complexity will help players master the intricacies of managing destroyers.
