The role -playing game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 attracted the attention of players and the media not only with high -quality graphics, an exciting plot and an interesting combat system, but also a small size of the developer team. For a long time in the community there has been an opinion that only 30 people worked over the project, and this allegedly proves that a huge state does not need a master of the masterpiece. However, if you look into the final credits of the game, the situation is much more difficult.
In Sandfall Interactive itself, a little more than 30 people really work, and some of them worked on several roles. At the same time, specialists from a number of outsourcing companies from around the world also worked on the project:
- Eight South Korean experts participated in the creation of game animations.
- More than 40 employees of the Polish company QLOC were engaged in QA testing.
- Sixteen Huwiz employees worked on optimization and testing of stability.
- Seven specialists from EBB Software, known for the Corn Horror, helped with portaining.
- A huge number of people were involved in creating musical accompaniment and voice acting characters.
Meanwhile, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has become one of the highest -estimated games of the year both among the media and players. In the first three days from the date of release, the sale exceeded one million copies. Against the backdrop of success, Sandfall Interactive is already discussing the creation of DLC.
