ARC System Works studio, known for the Guilty Gear fighting series, can work on a new exclusive for Nintendo Switch 2. The novelty now has a working name Watari and is developed on the Unreal Engine 5.4 engine. As the expected release date is indicated on November 25, 2025, but it may change.

ARC System Works is a Japanese developer and publisher of a video game, founded in 1988 by Minor Kidoka and based in Yokogam. The company is known for its arcade 2D phutings, including the Guilty Gear and Blazblue series, as well as licensed projects for franchises such as Dragon Ball Fighterz, Persona 4 Arena and Granblue Fantasy Versus. Initially working as a contractor for Sega and other publishers, the studio eventually acquired the rights to a number of cult IP, including Double Dragon and Kunio-Kun. In 2017, she opened the North American unit in California, and in 2024 – a European office in Paris.
