Estgames has announced the date of closed beta testing of the Korean version of MMORPG Cabal Red, which continues to develop the Cabal Online universe, first launched 20 years ago. Testing will be held from April 25 to April, 2025, and the submission of applications for participation is opened before the 20th on Official website. Invitations will be sent on April 22 and 23.
Cabal Red is positioned as a direct plot and ideological continuation of the original Cabal Online. Unlike Cabal 2, which was a branch, and Cabal Mobile, focused on transferring the classic version to mobile devices, the new project inherits the original setting and seeks to offer the players an updated but recognizable experience.
The developers emphasize that when creating Cabal Red, they intentionally moved away from the typical trends of the Korean MMORPG, focusing on entertaining value and originality. The game s cross-platform between mobile devices and PC, preserving recognizable elements of the original, including combat styles, battle modes and a proprietary combo system. All five classes from Cabal Online – Force Shielder, Warrior, Wizard, Force Archer and Force Blader – are returned to Cabal Red with an updated pumping system, which includes new skills, equipment and the possibility of character evolution.
One of the main innovations of Cabal Red was an expanded dungeon system, including solo-mode, group and guild dungeons, as well as PVE content in the form of “BELL”. The PVP direction is represented by battles of 3 to 3 format, battles between guilds and a free PK system. A trading interface with for the exchange of currency between players has also been introduced into the game.
