Owners of Lest and Wargaming are recognized as extremists by court decision

The Tagansky District Court of Moscow recognized the extremist activity of the owner of the Lest Game Malik Khatazhaev and the founder of Wargaming Viktor sour. All assets related to the Russian publisher of the World of Tanks and the World of Ships are transferred to the state’s income. The verdict comes into force immediately.

The basis for the lawsuit was the approval of the General Prosecutor’s Office about the involvement of Lesta in extremist activities in the form of for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The department indicated that the company’s actions pose a threat to state interests and rights of an indefinite circle of persons.

How Clarified TASS, citing a source familiar with the situation, does not apply to the entire group of Lesta companies, its counterparties, s or employees. The resolution refers exclusively on the recognition of extremists of two individuals – sour and Khatazhaev. The activities of the Lesta Group of Companies, the implementation of its gaming projects and the provision of technical are continuing as usual. It is separately emphasized that compliance with employees’ labor rights and the stability of operating activities will be provided.
