Perfect World announced the launch of the first collaboration in the role game Persona 5: The Phantom X, which is dedicated to the Persona 3 remake with the Relayad subtitle. An event called “Island illuminated by the moonlight” introduces a new plot episode in which the characters of both games are faced, and also adds a five -star character Yuki Makoto.
The plot of the update unfolds on the mysterious island of Port-Island, where of the phantom thieves fall by chance. There they meet a young man with blue hair and a melancholy mood. In the blurred space, two teams have to combine efforts and open the riddle hidden in the bowels of the island. Within the framework of the crossover, players will be able to use unique mechanics inherent in Persona 3 Reload, such as the Teurgy system and command , as well as a new P3R style interface.
Yuki Makoto also receives a special combat costume in the theme of the butler, affecting the visual design of attacks and animation of the character. When using resources received in the event, players can open additional decorative elements, such as avatars, profile frames and business cards.
Within the framework of the update, temporary bonuses are activated, including increased payment in urban part -time jobs and the ability to get an “energy drink” subject through the event page. In addition, players will have to explore the new depths of the Tartar tower, in which a new boss appeared – a “recklessness mechanism”, offering tests of an increased level of complexity and generous awards.
Separately, it was noted that in April the Korean localization team Persona 5: The Phantom X invited a group of players from South Korea to Persona Live Tour, where they were able to talk with developers and share their offers.
