The Astral Ascent Platform Rouglake Explosion has received the largest currently update 2.0, dedicated to the fourth anniversary of the completion of the Kickstarter campaign. The addition is added by four new worlds – Shattered Rates, Molten Wastes, Frostbound Expanses and Obsidian Heights. Each of the zones offers a unique biom, new music, eight species of enemies and four types of traps, which in total gives 32 new enemy and 16 traps. Also in DLC a new Boss Andromeda appeared, the victory over which rewards with a special appeal. The escape from prison, along with Andromeda, opens her separate story ending.
Update 2.0, available for free for all owners of the basic version of the game, introduces a new spell improvement system – IMPRINT. It allows you to find up to eight “prints” in one age and use them to strengthen and modify spells. In total, 90 prints are available, unlocked through special drawings that fall from elite enemies and bosses. New rooms were also added: Aura Room for the selection of rare AUR and Echo Room for the selection of allies with the desired effects. The first zone was processed to simplify the start, visual and tactile sensations from attacks are improved, the transitions between the rooms are accelerated and their length is reduced. The developers made a number of improvements to the interface and balance, including the processing of rare effects in a room with a damned telescope.
In addition, the studio announced plans for the further development of the game. In the near future, they will add Boss Rush mode and the Hab Castomization System using cosmetic objects, as well as release a charity DLC in of animal protection.
