Sony Interactive Entertainment opened a new studio in the PlayStation Studios, called Teamlfg. About this reported General Director of Studio Business Group German Hulles. Initially, the team was formed on the basis of Bungie, but soon attracted specialists from all over the game sector to implement an ambitious project, the details of which are still kept secret.
Teamlfg is based in Belwey, Washington, and its employees work both in the office and remotely from different regions of the USA and Canada. The team included industry veterans who participated in the creation of such games as Destiny, Halo, League of Legends, Fortnite, Roblox and Rec Room, as well as new developers with an original look at the game design and modern virtual worlds.
The name Teamlfg deciphens as “Looking for Group” (a game term meaning a group search for a t game). It is designed to reflect the main mission of the studio, which consists in developing multiplayer games, in which the main attention is paid to social interaction, team game and a sense of belonging to the community. In its future projects, the team relies on an action-oriented gameplay and a rich social component, and also plans to actively interact with the audience through early access and regular playmings.
The first studio project is described as a team action game in a light comedy atmosphere with elements of fighting, platformer, Moba, a simulator of life and other genres. Actions will unfold in a new science fiction universe with a mythological bias. More detailed information about the game will be disclosed later.
