HYBE IM officially announced plans to issue the new MMORPG Architect: Land of Exile in South Korea within 2025 and began preparing the full launch of the project. Aqua Tree studio is engaged in the development, and the publishing house is carried out by Hybe IM itself. The project was first presented to a wide audience at the G-STAR 2024 exhibition, where it attracted attention due to a high level of technical implementation and an unusual concept.
Architect offers players to explore the world who has experienced a catastrophe, known as a great flood. The plot unfolds around the mysterious tower of giants hidden in devastated and forgotten lands. s will be able to choose between five archetypes of classes – a warrior, a magician, a combat priest, a killer and a hunter – and freely move around the seamless open world, using such vehicles as flying, swimming and climbing. The authors focus on the vertical design of levels and non -standard opportunities for researching the surrounding space.
The project operates on the Unreal Engine 5 engine, which made it possible to implement a highly detailed graphics and create an atmospheric fantasy world. Much attention is paid to the narrative component – the events of the game are presented through the player’s progress in the study of the tower, revealing the multilayer history of the world.
