Citadel Studios has decided to relaunch the classic version (the one that didn’t have NFTs yet) of Legends of Aria via Steam. The game will appear on Valve’s service on May 9, 2024 and will be distributed by subscription, but the first 30 days will allow you to play for free.
Legends of Aria Classic will reportedly operate under 2019 rules. Scalable systems such as karma and factions will return to the game, which promise to be customized and expanded as development resumes.
“The beginning of 2019 was a magical time for Legends of Aria. Players created amazing cities and houses, furnished with furniture and decorated with trophies of adventure. We had a balanced flow of reds versus blues (and oranges) that played out across our world. We watched as large dungeon raids and faction battles exploded into meteoric chaos. It’s these feelings we want to return to in Legends of Aria Classic,” the developers said.
