Elodie Games reported that it has decided to cancel the isometric EXTRACTIONECSENSEN SEEKERS of Skyveil and its own closure. This event will occur on March 31, 2025 – after only three weeks from the start of early access to Steam. The reason lies in low online and the absence of opportunities to maintain and develop the game in the future.
In a farewell letter, the developers thanked all the players who ed the game at different stages of development, and reported that preparations are currently underway to remove the game from Steam and the return of all funds. Until this moment, access to all heroes will be opened so that players can enjoy the last days of the existence of the game.
“Seekers, today we are a heavy heart with you with heavy news: Seekers of Skyveil will be closed on March 31, 2025, and Elodie studio will close with it.
We are incredibly proud of what we created. Our goal has always been to create something unique and worthy of attention. We believe that we succeeded. Despite the ion and long hours spent at Seekers of Skyveil, we were not able to gain a critical mass of players necessary for the long -term existence of the game. Without the necessary financing to continue development and marketing efforts, we have no other choice but to complete this short journey. ”
Elodie Games was founded in 2019 by natives of Blizzard, BioWare and Riot Games, and the launch of Early access Seekers of Skyveil in March 2025 became a failure: the peak online did not exceed 400 people, and the Steam rating is “mixed” 65%.
