Zenimax Online Studios has released a large -scale update for Mmorpg The Elder Scrolls Online, dedicated to the release of the first part of the Empress of Worm Cult. It has become available for PC and Mac players, including versions in Steam and Epic Games Store, and on consoles will appear later. The new plot expansion marks the direct continuation of the main line of quests of the original ESO and opens access to the previously unknown region.
The addition transfers players to the new island of Solstis – the previously not studied part of The Elder Scrolls. Within the framework of history, the heroes have to withstand the reviving cult of the worm and explore the nature of the mysterious wriggling wall, which divides the island into parts. The plot will continue to develop in the second part planned for the fourth quarter of 2025. The western part of the island, available now, contains new dungeons, bosses, unique tasks and a separate public location, and also provides players with the opportunity to earn rare antiques, equipment and cosmetic objects.
In addition, the additions of 12 players called Ossein Cage are presented as part of the additions, the action of which takes place in one of the molags of the ball in Koldharmboch. Participants will have to capture a powerful relic, overcoming unique mechanics and dangers created specifically for this activity. The entrance to the test is made from the new region, but the content itself is designed separately from the main zone.
Simultaneously with the addition to all owners of the game, a free update of 46 was released. It includes a subclass system that allows you to combine two sets of class skills in characters of level 50, thereby expanding the ability to create a build. Returning players will be able to use the Hero’s Return system, simplifying the return to the game – it includes a brief training quest, new awards and assistance with studying content.
ESO Plus subscribers gained access to the storehouse of interior items – Furnishing Vault, which allows you to place up to 500 unique furniture objects in character houses. Also in the update, the map display was improved, tutorials on waybills were processed and the method of obtaining master quines, now united in compact envelopes, is updated.
On June 18, the update will become available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S, and on June 23, on consoles, for modifications for the interface with the possibility of installation through the intra -game interface will first appear.
