The Korean company Second Quest announced its first project called Divine Edge: The Tale of the Girl and the God, developed for mobile devices. The game was shown at the Playx4 2025 exhibition, which is held from May 22 to 25 in the city of Ilsan. The novelty is positioned as the “next generation” in the IDLE-RPG genre and combines pumping elements with a visual narrative and highly detailed graphics based on Unreal Engine 5.
In the center of the plot of Divine Edge: The Tale of the Girl and the God is a story about a girl called up in another world, and an ancient deity freed from imprisonment. Together they travel through space and time, gradually revealing the secrets of their origin and strengthening the emotional connection. Particular attention is paid to the system of combat combinations and the interaction between the heroes, which, as claimed, should highlight the game against the background of other representatives of the genre.
At the Playx4 exhibition, the game was first represented by the general public. In addition to demonstrating the debut trailer, visitors were offered to take part in offline matters with exclusive prizes and bonuses.
“Starting with participation in Playx4, we plan to actively communicate with domestic and foreign s and give up a serious challenge to the RPG world market,” said Kim Yong-Gon, general director of Secondquest, ““ We will continue to conduct various communication and marketing events that will strengthen interest in the game before the official launch of this summer. ”
Already in June 2025, the stage of preliminary registration will open on the territory of South Korea, and a full release is scheduled for the summer of 2025.
