GZ announced the basis of the new Tokyo Studio for the development of the video game Sirius Studio, which included recognized industry experts, including the former Japan Studio Teriamu producer. The new team will focus on the development of games for PC and consoles, as well as in the directions of virtual and augmented reality.
The founders of Sirius Studio are the President of GZ Tomokhiro Suzuki, executive vice president and producer Hideki Irie, as well as several experienced producers who previously worked on projects such as Bloodborne, Soul Sacrifice, Resident Evil 7, The Last Story and Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown. Toriyama, who took the post of general producer and product director, is known for working on Demon’s Souls (2020), Draacine, Astro Bot Rescue Mission and other key titles.
Sirius Studio positions itself as a future world -class studio, combining creativity and experience for developing innovative gaming products, covering different platforms and technologies.
