Without subscription to MMORPG PAX Dei, you cannot own your own home

Even before the MMORPG exit with the PAX Dei sandbox elements at the early access stage, the developers warned that after the official release the game would switch to Pay-to-Play. Now they shared the details of the new distribution model.

It became known that playing Pax Dei without paying a monthly subscription will still allow, but with one serious restriction. Such s will not be able to own personal plots of the Earth (rafts), which will significantly limit the possibilities in the gameplay. Thus, you will literally have to pay for rent at home in the game.

However, the developers from Mainframe Industries explained that thanks to a number of systemic changes, the game will become affordable for those who do not want to make a paid subscription. In particular, with the renewal of Verse 3: Path of the Adventurr, the starting zones of Petra Dei will appear, where basic craft stations and a limited storage for all characters of the player on the server will be available. This will start the adventure without your own site.

In addition, mechanics that are not tied to the possession of plots will develop. The clans system already allows you to share the rights to the raft, and the in -game economy with gold makes it possible to buy equipment from other players. Thus, Pax Dei offers the path of research and interaction even without construction and personal property. However, it is far from the fact that this is enough to keep players who prefer not to pay a monthly subscription.

This news caused a lot of indignation among Steam s. Many people believe that Pax Dei is not very good at all now, and the introduction of housing subscriptions will only scare away new players. Even some loyal fans who have played hundreds of hours do not plan to continue to play after the changes come into force, or demand a refund.

By the way, s who purchased Pax Dei during the early access can be counted after the release for only one month of free subscription. And there is no difference if you bought the cheapest set for 1499 rubles or the most expensive for 5099 rubles.
